TASK FORCE GUIDELINES Task Force Members agree that: 1. When referring to NAAFA policies or positions, they express only policies or positions stated in the FATF alert or NAAFA Newsletter. When stating their personal opinion, they should identify them as such. 2. They will not, unless instructed otherwise, refer to themselves in their letters as members of the Task Force; however, identifying themselves as NAAFA members is acceptable and encouraged. 3. Whenever possible they will write their own letter rather than copying and signing a sample letter. However, signing and mailing a form letter is better than not writing at all. 4. They will send copies of their fat activism letters to the NAAFA office. 5. They will send a minimum of three letters per year in order to be considered members of the Task Force. 6. They will inform the NAAFA office of potential targets by sending
new clippings, reports of television/radio incidents, sample products,
or any other materials that could be helpful in preparing a Task Force
Alert.
